To the Editor: Regarding "My Hidden Prague" (Nov. 18), I used to live on Krizikova. I bet the street has changed quite a bit; it was kind of wild when I was there a dozen years ago. As for the renovations to the train station, I suppose it's for the best, but the thought that Hlavni Nadrazi will no longer be the decrepit, chaotic madhouse I loved makes me wonder: Should I ever visit that place again? Or should I just remember it?

To the Editor: Prague is a wonderful city. It has as much history as London, if not more, and is more affordable, with smaller crowds and better food. Don't forget to drink Pilsner Urquell and the local liqueur called Becherovka, which is intriguingly disgusting. Things to see: the clock tower in Stare Mesto; the entire castle district; a performance of Smetana's "Bartered Bride"; funky art galleries.

To the Editor: I don't see why someone would only recommend $200 to $400 rooms in Prague. A few stops from the main train station, you can easily find very nice hotels in the $50 to $100 range.
