Angry Birds, the popular video game that involves catapulting birds at fortresses constructed by enemy pigs, now has a greater purpose than killing time at the checkout line. "Angry Birds Space Encounter," above, a collaboration between NASA and the game's creator, Rovio Entertainment, features six interactive stations, including a laser-beam obstacle course set on the Red Planet and Eggsteroid slingshots that children can use to launch birds at evil pigs. Which, of course, is a lesson about parabolic trajectories.
