Google Maps has added information on public transportation in several cities. The service now provides up-to-date departure times for seven New York City (above) subway lines and for buses and trams in the greater Salt Lake City area, and service alerts for Washington's Metrorail subway. Updates are available in many other major cities, including London, Madrid and San Diego.
