Finnair began a new check-in service this month that allows passengers to share their Facebook profiles with others on board and even see who's seated next to them. It is the latest of a handful of carriers experimenting with social seating. The voluntary service is a boon for fliers looking to socialize, not for those hoping to take a nap.
